Dearest Squiddies… I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July. May it be safe and full of wonderful activities with family and friends.
and… I have finished a commission recently… Friend of Squid, Joe Minotaur (no, not his real name), had commissioned me to produce a piece with both he and I and the married couple in it. It’s a 12×16 watercolor showing the happy couple in a bit more “relaxed” moment of their Big Day. Joe has graciously allowed there to be prints of the piece should any wish to have a copy of their own… Laser prints at $10 plus shipping and handling. Here’s the piece:
I should note that the size of the print would be 8.5 x 11… and if someone should want a larger size, they should contact me…. whereby prices shall be discussed.
I think wedding photos may go completely out of style….This lovely watercolor interpretation is nicer than any photo could be! Thanks, Joe, for ordering it so we all could see it!
Thank you, Jude. Yes, thank you, Joe!
Beautifully done!
Merci! Sorry Scap didn’t get the invite.
Thank-you, Judy and DadaHyena.
We have all been friends with Brig for a long time. When it was announced that Randie and Ryan would FINNALY get married, I knew this was my opportunity to get and give a very special wedding present. I wanted to make sure that Brig knew that I was happy that this was happening at last and that I thought that a “photo” of the event was needed. I wanted to be a part of it and made Brig an “offer she couldn’t refuse”. I also made sure that she had a good scan of the art to offer for sale(ask her). Please be assured that all monies from the prints, go to our favorite “starving” Squid Row artist. I have wanted to do this for a long time.
Joe, I thank you again… that is just the nicest thing you wrote there… and I am most thankful for your friendship and kindness. Smiles upon you!
I’m just now catching up on my ‘toons after a few weeks of crazyness. Love the new R&R art and stories. This almost brings me to tears. Joe, what an awesome and sweet thing you have done here. Brig, the art work is stunning.
Thank you, JC. Glad you like the stuff. And it was VERY kind of Joe, indeed! Smiles!
