Ha ha ha… Have you ever had a “run in” with an owl, Uncle B?
Well, we used to have a hawk or something that would divebomb my mother at night.
OOoooo… Raptors would be SCARY… talons of YIKES!
We do rescue injured owls from time to time, especially the larger owls, but nothing remarkable.
You would probably like our tiny burrowing owls, what a lot of people in this area call gopher owls. Like a lot of the High Desert wildlife such as the grey foxes, they’re about half the size they are anywhere else. And they do indeed live in burrows in colonies well out in open areas away from trees, large rocks or anything that might hide hunters trying to sneak up on them. You will suddenly see several of these tiny owl heads pop up out of the ground and look around before disappearing again, often the entire colony at once.
I’ve seen photographs of the adorable little guys… they make me squeal!

No problem. It looks nice, contrasts well, and shows personality….. Randy’s mellow blue with rounded edge and the big monster’s aggressive orange with jagged edge. I wish more people used backgrounds so well! Although….. why eat artists? Are they tastier? Hm….. oh, probably leaner than most people!
All I know is to not eat comedians.
