Can you tell that they’re BOTH artists?
Again.. this page was done entirely on the iPad. Brighter, ain’t it?

Loving it!
thank you, Judy.
I once worked where I had to take five minutes to walk to the break room and five minutes back on a ten minute break. Solved the problem by starting my break when I put my butt down in a break room seat…
Breaks work best if there’s sit down time. At Palace Art and Office Supply, we had the great fortune of having a coffee joint practically next store… but sometimes… there was in fact a line… but at least you could sit down somewhere where it wasn’t work.
Oh geez, I always hated that ten minute break malarkey. One place I worked at we basically revolted because all you could do in ten minutes was stand in the break room. There was nowhere to go you could reach in 10 minutes. They ended up giving us two ten minute breaks more or less for the smokers to use and then extending lunch so we actually had time to do something, BUT they also paid for delivery fees from a coffee/doughnut shop, a greek place, and a deli. You had to buy your own food, but they’d take care of the couple dollars a day to get it to you for your break so you could stand outside and at least have a sandwich.
well, that was nice of them… paying for the delivery fees. THAT was pretty cool. But sitting in the break room means people could come up and ask you a question… which means, you’re still working…. in my book.
Yeah, that was the DOWNside. Because we wore uniforms we were never off shift if someone asked us a question, sigh!
Cramming in art whenever. Yup! I know that feeling. I gotta get away from our work couch in the office. I always get sucked into a conversation.
I used to not leave my office because I knew that if I went down for coffee, I’d see 2 or 3 people I’d know and my 10 minute coffee break just became an hour. Working at home… you don’t have SO much of that.
