If it’s a break, maybe. If it’s bleeding, just pack some tissue or toilet paper (or a tampon) in the bleeding nostril. Keep an eye on it, though, pull the plug after awhile. (I’ve had more nosebleeds than you’ve drawn comics.)
Oh boo… nosebleeds are pooopy. I get them when I take too much aspirin. My mom used to get nosebleeds that wouldn’t stop. She had to have a blood vessel taken care of.
While the immediate problem of the nose is definitely worth paying attention to, I had a friend read the last comic and note that she should also pay close attention to her knees and especially her lower back after a fall like that.
But yes, step one, check the nose. Trust me, you don’t want to damage that. As someone with no sense of smell I can assure you it’s very important…… your food will never taste as good again without it!
Oh, good! Her nose broke her fall! And her fall broke her nose.
She got busted up.
fyi there is a kickstarter running now for a game called invasion of the garden gnomes. surely randie will want to chip in.
REALLY??? I will go find! hahahahah!
Thanks for the heads up… you see… other people know about the gnome doom that is coming

Cauterization—sticking a hot wire up your nose to seal off the blood vessel—is how it’s done. I’ve never seen the need.
Well, Randie had her nose out of joint figuratively already. Now she has it out of joint literally.
well said. She ought to be a bit more careful… in both situations… from now on.

That’s right! You don’t smell things, Trev… Yes, the ol’ sniffer is most important… and we will see very soon just how bad things are.
