‘Insuring’ is an interesting word – you almost need ornament insurance. Shinies do seem to have an actual hypnotic effect on cats. I don’t have a cat, but I do have three grey foxes and two Pomeranians, and foxes are natural jumpers and climbers. You sometimes find them in places you would never expect. They also scream.

Get a few of the unbreakable ornaments as juuuust out of reach height. Or get a couple of unbreakable ones filled with cat nip. That’ll make for a VERY Merry Christmas!
Christmas trees are just really tall cat toys, I thought that was the understanding! You know, between we can-opening thumb beasts and our noble feline overlords.
