ooooOOOOoooo… Back Story! Gotta love it!
Did we know about Ryan’s parents? I don’t recall reading it. And I NEVER miss a strip. I’m missing a few marbles, but not a single R&R/Squid Row strip!
Way back in le histoire de Squid Row, we have Randie flashbacks. We’ve seen her mother (in the 70’s), usually in a Mother’s Day remembering situation. We have never seen her father. You will recall the day Randie freaked out about the gnomes and had to lock herself in Spill’s truck for a spell… she talks to Enid about where this fear was coming from… watching horror films with her dad at a young age. So there’s that. The rest is yet revealed.
An only child? Well, that explains a lot.

Sounds like a lovely way to be with the family… Wait, no it doesn’t. Well, suck as it may, people make their choices in life.
