Yes. There will be a few bolts thrown into the working gears of life. It will definitely make things more difficult. After all, everything peachy is boring. (I keep telling MYSELF that).
I know a couple people who have been hired by their exes. In many cases it’s because the ex knew their work ethic. In a couple it’s been because said ex wanted to be able to fire them if they screwed up.
I’m just hoping it ends up being for the right reasons and on his own merits that he was hired…. and that he doesn’t let this revelation get to him. Few things other people do can affect your mind if you don’t let them!
Oh, this should be interesting…
One 10 lb bag of manure. One oscillating fan. Play Ball!
I have an oscillating fan on my desk… it keeps my computer equipment cool. It is also ready, at a moment’s notice for life’s “little surprises.”
Happy Birthday, Rich… I hope it’s a sunny one!
No wonder they were so eager to get Rye Bread hired and working there!
We shall see the ensuing “discussion” … You know that Emily has some ‘splaining to do.
Good Ol’ Rob. I’m sending him one of those old-style bicycles with the really big front wheel. It just seems to suit his style.
Rob is based on Joe Livernois… who once sported the biggest most massive walrus mustache you ever did see. I tweaked it a bit.
Rob has fine and fanciful facial fuzz.
Quite Portlandian.
Well…. aaaaain’t that just peachy? There’s only about fifty ways this storyline can now go, and forty-three of them are bad for R&R.
Next up for the Exploding Relations Obstacle Course: RYAN!
Yes. There will be a few bolts thrown into the working gears of life. It will definitely make things more difficult. After all, everything peachy is boring. (I keep telling MYSELF that).
Hmmm…. maybe it is just a coincidence?? Maybe she was just a big fan of his writing style? Maybe the bunny is on the way to the pot of boiling water?
I like bunnies… they should not be in pots. And we shall see how the story progresses.
Now she tells him.
The fine art of withholding information.
Hrrrmmm…maybe this is about to be a BIG lesson in the adage, “money can’t buy everything” for dear, dear Emily.
Emily’s family is blessed with money… but you a right… that money, and all the opportunity and security it can buy, will not buy certain things.
I know a couple people who have been hired by their exes. In many cases it’s because the ex knew their work ethic. In a couple it’s been because said ex wanted to be able to fire them if they screwed up.
We’ll see what Emily had in mind when this plays out…. and it will. Emily knows Ryan’s writing and his work ethic, for sure.
I’m just hoping it ends up being for the right reasons and on his own merits that he was hired…. and that he doesn’t let this revelation get to him. Few things other people do can affect your mind if you don’t let them!
