Though if you fluctuate between sun and rain, the Hawaiian islands is a good place. Waikiki, on Oahu, gets less than 10 inches of rain a year. But five miles east in the mountains, rain totals are counted in the hundreds of inches.
If I didn’t kind of like rain and cloudy days I wouldn’t live in the Pacific Northwest.
Notice that the two big Oregon universities’ mascots are Ducks and Beavers, both critters associated with water.
Also if you’re ever lost in town, remember that moss grows on the north side of Portlanders.

She is, indeed… I guess she don’t mind the walking in the rain.
Hawaii is lovely… but with all that lava right now… best to enjoy from a distance.

Rainy days do have their own romance about them. I do some of my best artwork with the rain coming down and nice hot cup of coffee by my side.
