Soon-to-be

Whenever you have something that comes into view… something that you’ve been working towards, there’s an excitement, a moment of “I can almost taste it”… and this is what Randie is feeling. She can see herself on her scooter there in the final panel.
Ummm…while I hate to be ‘That Person’, there’s a major color blunder here: Randie’s hair is not blue.
Harold!!!!!! Gah, he is so gonna get it!!!’
Thank you… Phil… Harold agreed to get right on it… and he fixed it. You know, his head is full of fluff… so, ahem. He apologizes.
What? Not a PINK Vespid? *hehe*
” Pink is for sissies” said Randie once (before the Vespa coffee delivery vehicle).
Gonna take up delivering coffee by Vespa again?
Wistful, perhaps, in remembering her Vespa days. But anticipation is building for her own scooter!
Seems the hair dye was temporary.
Sigh… I’m firing Harold. He so blew it.
It’s all righted now… Harold (who gets to keep his job) fixed the blonde to blue issue. Sometimes… sigh.
And as a bonus, the banner is also fixed to reflect the new color!
Funny and convenient how life sometimes provides you examples of just what you’re thinking! In my case also kind of scary. I think of horror movies a lot, and one merry day in Ottawa I actually rounded a corner and almost walked right into a guy in full Pinhead regalia from the Hellraiser series! It was a college makeup project, and an excellent one, and it sure gave me a shock!
OH! That would be un-nerving! Unlike you & Randie, I stay away from horror films as I have an overactive imagination that already gets the best of me! I must say, I was taken aback of this little blue gnome.
Someone’s gotta find that lost cat. Maybe if you sign up for the ukelele lessons the cat will respond to the sweet island rhythms of a Brother Iz type song and the cat will come back. Maybe?
… You know the song “The Cat Came Back”…? Yah? With some sweet island tunes, the cat would DEFINITELY come back. Maybe a bit of Jake? Who knows… songs ABOUT cats would work… cats are so ego-centric.
But the cat came back,
the very next day.
They thought he was a goner but the cat came back
‘Cause he wouldn’t stay away!
Oh, maybe Harold deserves a raise. He put his job on the line to get you to have him change Randi’s hair color in in the logo as well. Good job, Harold!
Oh, that Harold is a keeper… I could never fire’im. He’s filled with fluff, after all. He does good work. Really. He actually did up the banner a week or so ago… but it was just noticed now, because the whole blue hair thing was brought to attention. We had some discussion on THAT VERY SUBJECT a few weeks back when Ryan saw colored hair all over the place, ironically.
