I haven’t been to San Francisco in so long! There was a little place outside the convention center that had the world’s best shrimp burritos – travel is a challenge when you’re very lactose intolerant! A flock of pelicans flew along side the plane when we were coming in to land – it was just like the ending in Jurassic Park. ‘They used to be dinosaurs’
Mmmm… burritos… and I like my burritos with lactose! (I’m a slave to cheese… it’s my French blood… well, French-Canadian… but I can trace it back to France!). I worry about birds flying next to planes because of, as Eddie Izzard puts it, “Bird Suck” (into engines). But it was obviously beautiful… and it was a fine memory!
Biking would indeed be scary in the city. In some cities, such as Ottawa, WALKING is scary in some districts! People just can’t drive sometimes…..
Yes, taking your life into someone else’s hands…. I often feel like that in Salinas! And now we have to worry about Pokemon Go people, too! THEY aren’t watching where they are going either! Sheesh!
Oh geez, I live in rural Ontario and we’ve almost had half a dozen car accidents because of that game! I don’t know how people in cities are dealing with that.
