While the day started off in high spirits… it has tumbled into Ryan’s Terrible Horrible No Good Day. Poor guy.

Sirens pulling into your living place is *always* a bad sign…or at least, a sign that things could be way worse. I mean–at least, they’re not the ones who’ve collapsed/been in a severe domestic argument/started a fire!
Now we have to wait until next Tuesday to find out what all of this mayhem means! The advantage of television, when you only have to wait until after ‘a word from our sponsor’ Now I worry about the scooter being gone.
We do have an emergency light bar on the East Mesa Veterinary Hummer, and flashers on the horse trailer as a precaution (as recommended by both the police and Game and Fish) I used to not turn on the lights until we got out on the main streets, but it turned out that the neighbors want us to use the lights when we leave so that they know what time in the wee hours we have to head out – like the other night at 2 in the morning when it was 22 degrees – because it makes their beds feel even more comfortable. I never use the siren, temptation be danged!
That must be some party…
It’s my suspicion the scooter isn’t parked on the patio anymore…
I used to have a friend in college, a zillion years who threw these parties. They were rated on the number of times the police came for disturbing the peace calls. A ‘three’ was the highest I remember.
At least we *ONLY* have to wait until Tuesday.
Remember when magazines would serialize stories, and you had to wait until next month?
Hmm. . . on the other hand, something BAD could have happened in the place where his car isn’t parked.
Poor, Rye? Poor lil’ gato getting flung outta bed!
Hi All… sorry for the cliffhanger… It couldn’t be helped. Sometimes the storyline ends up that way on the calendar…
I remember how I felt coming out ot the theater after the second Star Wars film. I felt so mad at the end of “The Empire Strikes Back” with the way the movie was unresolved… but it did stir the imagination for 3 years.
In any case, Tuesday is just around the corner… and I must say that this cartoon’s storyline and timing is very much like real life right now… read the blog entry below.
Well, when “Star Wars” came out, we didn’t know there would be a sequel. That could’ve been it, especially if it had been a bomb. When “The Empire Strikes Back” came out, it had been announced and we knew for sure there would be.
Yes, the amazing success of the first film caught all parties by surprise… “The Empire Strikes Back” was a good follow up film to the first one and there was INDEED going to be a film three… which was my least favorite of the trilogy.
