I used to watch reruns of “The Odd Couple” in the afternoons. I really disliked Oscar… and always felt sorry for Felix. Much later in life, I finally saw the original movie… and it made more sense to my adult self.
We are more than our memories, though they are a part of us and affect us. They WILL get through this, but while things may change, and other things may need to be rebuilt in new ways, their love for each other remains undamaged.

Trev… Yes, I have been a worrier for most of my life… but I am getting better at not letting my fears get the better of me. Worrying isn’t like Ryan… but putting his thoughts on paper is.
Ryan has very neat and exquisite penmanship. (I had to switch to word processing my diary ’cause I couldn’t read my own handwriting when I needed to.)
RN… Yes, Ryan has lovely penmanship. It’s tidy, just like “his side” of the bedroom. Perhaps not as tidy as Felix Unger, but tidy.

When all is said and done, they will look back at this and wonder how they got through. Whatever is changed will simply be.
