Some of you may be asking “Why doesn’t Ryan let Randie use his Bug to get around?” … Firstly… ARE YOU KIDDING!? Ryan’s precious VW… Secondly, Randie doesn’t have a license, nor does she want to learn to drive. “And Why?” asks you. That’s a whole other story… for another time.
Creative vibes… ya gatta love’m. Here’s a few instances of creative vibing…

Uh oh…their first quarrel…
I’m not sure it’s a quarrel… is “tiff” lesser than a quarrel? But yah… there’s a bit of an aura of displease-ment.
All I can say is…may a suitcase full of cheese never be their big fork and spoon.
I think I’d go with something between “road bump” and “married life lesson”. They’re unitedly annoyed with the moment, the situation, and results of the work-around.
The “creator’s vibe” thing is completely real and is probably the main reason creative folk seem – an to varying extents are – crazy.
Yes, you know that of which I speak. I am blessed and cursed by the creative vibe… they say you should write what you know!
Randie’s afraid to drive a stick, isn’t she?
You know, we have yet to see what it is that keeps Randie from driving.
I will share one of my new-driver memories with you. With my Mom (and her friend) in my newly purchased VW Bug… , I nearly hit a bicyclist coming out of a shopping center. I was 18 and I hadn’t been driving very long… Mom flipped out… But everyone was fine. My mom still doesn’t trust my driving today… but compare MY driving record to say… my brother’s… I win!
I like how Randie deals with her creative roadblocks. When one form of creation is unavailable, find another! A creative solution to a creativity problem even.
I must admit I’m curious why she doesn’t drive. I mean, neither do I so I understand a number of reasons! I’m just curious which is hers.
Our dear Randie is a complex creature. There is a story behind as to why she doesn’t drive, indeed… I will definitely reveal that sometime when it seems like it fits into the story.
Umm, doncha have to be licensed to drive a scooter?
Indeed, you do… there was a Squid Row series of toons about that… here is one such toon… the one after that on the site, also refers to the subject… so click to the next toon.

I can understand Ryan reluctance. I get slightly jittery when my wife drives my “Little BUA” (a ’96 Chrysler Seibring). She a much more fearless driver than myself.
As far as the creative vibe, yes, not one to trifle with. They are quite fickle, but as Qui-Gonn said, “When you learn to quiet your mind, you will hear them talking to you.”
