Enid… the art therapist, saves the day. Well, if you are an artist, you have the benefit of being able to “unload” into your sketchbook or out on canvas. Expression and release are a very good thing. Sometimes, though… you just need a little extra help.
In the same vein as Linus van Pelt, call is a “security hammer.”
Indeed! A security hammer helps… I see no reason to NOT have a hammer on your person… kinda like a pocket knife. The French have pocket knives that also have a corkscrew on them. Seems right.
Ah, the noble hammer! Tool, symbol of the workman, makeshift defense! It’s fantastic. If you need something to get you through the day, you could do worse. It’ll help you limp through to your next therapy session! I have a hammer on hand year-round for nails, clearing rocks, and cracking up ice!
Nice! You keep a hammer on you, eh? I am always looking for our hammer. It goes missing as it is rarely put back in the spot where it is supposed to live. God help me if I ever should need one to fend off gnomes (I do have an infestation at the house)… but I do have an aluminum bat in the bedroom. They work, too.
Yep, my jeans all have a hammer loop on them. Handy things. Though, for emergencies like an outbreak of gnomes or baseballs an aluminum bat works a peach too!
When I saw the Goosebumps movie the gnome scene made me think of a certain character… I wonder who that character might be? 🙂
Hi Ying_Ko! You know, I missed that movie… but I can only imagine. I hope there were hammers and such employed!
Well, I do not want to spoil it, but it is worth seeing.
Randie needs to breathe deeply and practice chanting.
Gnome-gnomeOm-om…Ha ha… yah… “no gnome, om.” “no gnome, om.”
At least she counted up to the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Hahahahah! Yah… she did. I think she feels better having done that.
