Chapter: Northwest Fresh Start
Location: in Randie's sketchbook, Portland apartment
Randie’s perspective n things can always be seen in her sketchbook. Most artists are like that, I’d say.
That’s a very nice place they have! I hope it goes far in helping Randie make the adjustment.
Putting your thoughts down on material you value increase their convincing-ness.
Odd little parallels. Someone was telling me recently about her move to California years ago. Just as she finished hanging the last picture and put the last breakable on the shelf, they had an earthquake.
She can be grateful that the garden gnomes haven’t yet caught up with her…
Getting ‘healthy’ pizza places to put extra meat on a pie is harder than it seems to some people. As a dedicated omnivore I like to balance out my veggie and meat intake, and some places make that all but impossible. You’d think meat was unhealthy the way some people treat it! All things in moderation. The scrabbled grave though….. neat as that is, it would be a puzzler for sure. Hidden messages?
And are squirrels ever NOT busy? I think they exist to make me feel lazy just by looking at them, lol!
If you Google “Paul G Lind” and go to Images, you’ll see the tombstone that is probably Randi’s inspiration for her comment. Paul is buried in Portland, OR.
Did I get it, Brig?
