Randie gets a visit from those insomnia sheeps. They seem to relish bugging her… especially this time of year.

Yes, despite being a postal worker, I filched it from the USPS website. They never tell us things like that.
Nice Summary RN! Now Randie & R&R readers have no excuses!
The sheep are back!!
Indeed! Randie is definitely having a hard time with insomnia tonight … I’m guessing a mix of anxiety and over-caffeination.
Don’t listen to them, Randie. Most sheep have dain bramage.
It’s true… sheeps aren’t really “with it.” In fact, I would say they’re pretty dopey… but in a fun way.
Have you ever taken care of sheep? I have. I do not consider having to untangle them from the fencing YET AGAIN because they can’t figure out that barbed wire catches in their wool and if there weren’t people around to free them they’d be stuck for good and starve to death to be ‘dopey in a fun way’. Sheep are suicidally stupid.
Hahahah…. Well, I guess we have full right to make fun of them… “dopey like a sheep” might just be a Squid-ism.
The artist Henry Moore loved sheep… and he filled sketchbooks with drawings of them! I would like to do that, too… should I get the chance.
They’ll just sit there making Google-eyes at you.
Oh… they’re good at THAT… next cartoon, sheep smiling with said Google-eyes as the minutes and hours tick away, Randie mumbling.
As a chronic sufferer of insomnia, the best advice I can give Randie is: get up and get to work on the problems keeping you awake, if you can afford the loss of sleep. A couple lost hours NOW for peace of mind can be a HUGE benefit later! Your sleep bank is there for just such occasions!
…. he said at 1:02 AM, wide awake and answering emails while scanning webcomics and not having slept in over 40 hours……
Oh, dear, Trev… you speak from experience! My condolences. While I don’t usually suffer from insomnia, I do have those times when I make poor dietary choices, like eating chocolate late in the day, or enjoying coffee after 3pm. These are no-no’s and cause to follow your advice!
Thanks for the understanding. It’s not usually a problem, I’m used to it, but it does tend to contribute to my owly nature.
