The poor little baby has gone quiet. Who knows what the poor little thing went through before Randie and Ryan found him! … and how long the poor kitten had been crying out!

Earlier I commented that Ryan would have made an excellent military medic. This just reinforces that opinion. With his personality, he would have been liked and respected by the other soldiers as well.
As a military medic, Ryan, as a poet and writer, would feel so deeply. He would help others to the best of his ability… and then break down at the end of the day. However, I will give you an insight I don’t think I’ve revealed to this extent. Ryan’s father is retired military, so Rye grew up a military dependent, but has always sparred with his father. The military would not suit our Ryan. But if pressed into service, he’d be the best he could be.
Your comment reminds me of all the artists and poets who went to “The Great War.” How the war to end all wars must’ve stained their lives so. The scar tissue on one’s heart would be awful. I sat in on a poetry reading of Robinson Jeffers recently… there were many poems about WWI that brought forth his pain at humanity.
Sorry…. that was a fair bit of commentary. Thank you for your comment earlier… it obviously got me to thinking. Smiles.
You understand.
So sweet!
Booja-booja! Wittle-kitty.
Did Ryan make up his rhyme? Or borrow it? It’s adorable, like the kitten itself. Moons and kittens must be related….they both like night time and have been known to cause madness in weak willed humans…
It is from Yeats’ “The Cat and the Moon.” Agreed… madness in the moon… madness in cat ownership. Good and bad.
Some animals are happy to be helped. Some not so much. I’m glad this little fellow is in the former category. Cute little fellow, even in his disheveled state!
Little kitty was definitely in distress and needed (and wanted) to be helped. Poor thing. I do believe that many times, animals (and people) are put into our lives for a reason. We don’t know it at the time… but maybe it’s fairly obvious that Ryan needs not just a Randie to look after.
Pets are a great comfort for those times your significant other is away or busy, I’m told. Pet therapy is a common practice for many reasons!
I whole-heartedly agree that pets are good therapy! The joy I feel when my cat greets me at the door when I come home is priceless!
I want to snorgle it so bad!
Snorgle… ? Hee-hee.
That look on the little kitty’s face is going to make me cry.
Awwww… Fear not! Things get better for kitty!
