It’s just that there are so many tasty foods at Christmas… it’s a holiday battle of the bulge!
All things in moderation will do the trick!
But it’s so haaaaaard to be moderate with the yummies of the season!

I never thought that sort of thing shipped well. (But then I worked for the post office and I’ve seen too much.)
One advantage of the north: EVERYONE bakes, and they all swap piles of baking. No shipping necessary, you just have to wait for someone to show up for a visit and you’re going to get a pile of baked goods. And up here putting on a couple pounds just means insulation for the cold months, which you’ll burn off fetching wood anyways. It works out pretty well!
