Yessss…. the Monterey Museum of Art used to do Third Thursdays where there would be free admission, free catered food and mingling. The food was rather good and the place would always be packed. I wonder why they stopped doing that…?
Yes, the 10″ plate would not come into play here… it would be a server coming around with amuse booshes and cocktail napkins… and a wine bar, which is probably pay. So if the drinking happens, money up front… and then following around the servers like a new puppy.
Not going to lie, food tends to be my major weakness too. It’s a toss up which is easier to nail me with, food or forgotten places, but food is WAY easier to get!
Food is the way to many a heart… Randie has Amuse-Bouche tattooed on her heart.
Sooooo, you’ve been to The Mystery Spot then… in the Santa Cruz Mountains… ? It’s not forgotten, but it could have been.
Lol, I wish…… the only time I’ve ever left my home province was a recent trip to Mexico with my parents! Travel’s too expensive for the likes of me. I more mean old dead-end alleys in the middle of Ottawa, or cemeteries lost in the middle of a forest, or railroad sidings that sank into a swamp. Quiet, once-full-of-life spots you can sort of soak up the history of. Although the Mystery Spot DOES sound very interesting!
I may not know art, but I know what I like. . .to eat!

Struggling artist refusing food? Against union rules…
That’s right! Union Rules… prohibit the passing up of foods of the free persuasion. You gots it.
Normally that high-end chef-y food is a half-ounce serving on a 10″ plate that has a thin line of sauce squirted on it, right?
Still… if it’s free and you have 16 plates of the stuff, I guess you can eat enough to call it “food”. 😀

…and several barrels of coffee. FREE COFFEE.
I suppose so… Randie wouldn’t pass up ANY free food OR beverage situation!
