Well, I wasn’t expecting that. But Scootaloo is on the patio, so I expect that Randie’s ride is safe (for now)

So if they’d parked the scooter in the garage, and if their car hadn’t been in for repairs…well, they’d be wheelless…so the gnomes didn’t strike at them, then…
Yes, thank you! I really like the idea that Randie’s guardian angel is a garden gnome. I now have the image of David the Gnome with little wings.
Wow… I’ll be THAT was as unexpected for us readers as it was for Randie & Ryan.
And it also appears Randie may actually have a gnomish fear that needs to be addressed professionally. Her comment in this situation indicates a true belief that is deeply concerning.

It reminds me of Pearl Harbor and the fact that the carrier’s were at sea when the Japanese attacked. The Gnomes has it all planned, but chance robbed them of complete victory! No doubt the Gnomes General is saying, “I fear all we have done is awakened the sleeping Randie!”
