Longtime Squiddies may recognize the woman in the last panel. And things just got awkward. This trip to the museum has been rather dramatic (and/or traumatic) thus far!

“I gatta?”
A “Randie Word” for “got to”
Familiar, yes. But I simply can’t put a name or l’histoire to her.
L’allusion: L’histoire de Ryan.
Ah, Ryan’s ex…can’t think of her name though
Bingo… here’s the link to how it all got started: http://www.squidrowcomics.com/comic/collision
Wait, isn’t Ryan a travel writer? That means that he works with that travel gnome with the English accent from the commercials, doesn’t it? Does Randie know about that? So yeah, the missing gnome is on a beach in Jamaica.
Too much more of this and Randie is going to reconsider her career choices.
Ryan is a writer… and freelances in travel writing… or any other kind of writing. AND that travel gnome might be a colleague. Now his English accent is funny, because the history of garden gnomes is more German than English.
Oooooh, this is one of ‘those’ days. The hubby’s ex, the hated artist getting accolades, your work unappreciated, the energy vampire, and a gnome on the move. Should have stayed in bed!
ah, the missing gnome subverts the expectation of symmetry! that’s why it is art! language jimmy! genius!
stupid autocorrect. language should be magnifique.
Symmetry, eh? Well… that is IF it was intentional… we don’t know at this point… who knows? We may have a wild gnome loose in the museum! OH, the horror!
Emily…the art world is a small one.
Especially if your friend is Jimmy Chow and your ex’s best friend is Randie!
Well there’s a twist of the knife. A gnome scare and now this!
Randie’s evening is just going swell!
