Guys with ponytails (evil goatee optional) always remind me of the villains in 80s and 90s James Bond movies. I suspect that was intentional on your part, although you might not have been thinking specifically of James Bond. I don’t know about where you are, but here that’s a very retro look in the art community.
But he does have amazing talent. He can insult an entire room full of people and never even notice. And yes, a Clydesdale would be proud of my ponytail!
There certainly seemed to be a “bad guy” image where goatees were the thing. When I created the Max character back in 2010, it was more of a charicature of a real person… who was quite beard/goatee/facial hair and hair in general experimental. But it seems to have worked into “antagonist” image mode.
Max is anything but QUIET; if any of the crowd there are the artists showing, he sure has peeved them off!
With all of this ponytail business, I will probably be a horse in my next life. Of course, a self-proclaimed psychic (and legally certified, no doubt!) once told me in perfect seriousness that I’m the reincarnation of Liaka the Space Dog.
You know the thing I have found in life? If you can’t stand someone, TELL THEM. In no uncertain terms. It saves you a lot of headaches in the long run, and you don’t end up feeling bad for them finding out in a roundabout way. I’ve actually made friends with some people I’ve told off later in life because they ended up realizing that they were being obnoxious and I wasn’t going to tolerate it like everyone else (the realization being, nobody else liked it either, they were just being polite). Not always, not even often, but it has happened.
It’s funny when you look back at times in your life where someone was what you would consider “a pest” …You wind up wasting so much energy in regards to said “pest”… you may talk about them or complain about them to others, spend time fuming over whatever he or she has done to upset you, or spend extra time just trying to avoid their presence. Being upfront would nix all of that. I think the real challenge would be to find a clever way to let them know you’d rather not be in their midst without feeling bad or hurting their feelings. Perhaps this is one of the great challenges in life.
I find “I’m sorry, but I just find your personality kind of irritating. I guess we’re just not the kind of people who mesh.” works really well. And if they get offended, oh well….. they’ll just go out of THEIR way to avoid ME then, so, problem solved

How did I know that you had a ponytail?

Don’t hit on her…she belongs to another.
Pete, below, said it very well.
Ol’ Maxi-boy isn’t hitting on her. He only has eyes for himself.
Randie, you really need to tell him the time. (read: Clock him!)
I’m not sure Spill has enough on her to post bail.
Max must have found the manual that shows where all of Randie’s buttons are located. He sure seems to be pushing them all.
Absolutely… all the buttons have been pushed and held down!
