End Up…

How many times does this happen to you? You forget where you left the car! In the sea of cars at event parking, it’s always a challenge to remember where you parked!

I forget all. the. time. Worse, I know I’m going to forget when I first park, and think to myself, “All right, LOOK at where the car is so you’ll remember when you come out.”
I then promptly ignore myself and then when I come out… yup. Forgot.
That can drive anyone crazy! ;)~
I have a good short-term memory, so I seldom have that problem; however, I’ve noticed many malls and shopping centers seem to be designed to confuse customers about parking. For example having identical appearing entryways opening into widely separate areas of the parking area.
I never lose my car. Mostly because I don’t own a car. That helps!
Put a kayak rack on my van. I use it about twice a year for kayaking and weekly for finding the van in a crowded parking lot.
I have a button on my key fob that toots my horn and flashes my headlights. Ain’t technology grand?
Oh dear! This is me after every Renaissance Festival. Wandering around acres and acres of unmarked parking lot.
I drive a hearse. Never a problem.
Our car is old enough that there aren’t too many cars in the lots that look like it. Now on that note we have been using my mother-in-law’s car since ours has not been working. Nearly every car in the lot looks like hers, yeah… I’ve had to use the car finder button on the key once or twice.
On a more personal note Brig, my surgery went well and I’m recovering quickly. I only had to spend two days in the hospital and am already feeling much better. I’m only taking half the dosage of pain meds recommended for me as well. So things are getting better and my health issues are being taken care of.
Hee, hee! Reminds me of the morning after the 24-Hour Comic Event this year. I had been up and drawing for 19 hours straight, and couldn’t find the parking ramp I had parked at the morning before. Ended up walking up and down Washington Ave. in Minneapolis in a sleep-deprived haze until I finally found it and my car.
