It’s finally here! Randie gets to go… after years of wanting to! That makes this first visit either the greatest and sweetest moment! … or the greatest disappointment. That can happen when you build something up in your head.
And of course, they forget the camera to start off…
of course they forgot the camera. if everything went right, what fun would that be?
i really like the second panel background.
Panel two was based on a book called “The First Book Of Jazz” … art by Cliff Roberts. It feels so 1950’s Jazz.
I like the layout of this toon. I had fun with the layers, too!
Sometimes it is best to NOT take the camera. I purposely don’t take one sometimes so I can relax and just enjoy life as it plays out. Trying to take the “perfect” picture can be so tiring.
I have found that when I don’t feel the pressure to capture everything JUST in the right frame… I use my sketchbook more. So no camera means more sketches. That’s good, yah?
Very good, YAH!!
Yah! And more Yah! Scoo-beee scooobie scat dat!
Great artwork, as always! It’s tough to make a ‘talking heads’ scene visually interesting, but it’s done well here.
Panel 2 in particular looks like it could work on some Randie and Ryan merchandise. T-shirts or coffee mugs, anyone?
THank you, Dada… I did have fun with this one…
So whatever happened to Mouse since you moved up your toon?
Do you miss him? Fear not… he’s still around. Look for him to make a cameo next month.
AH, yes, slowly the rest of the cast emerges from the floorboards!
