You’ve heard of a cash cow… well, a cash kitten seems to be the complete opposite. They make up for it with all their adorable cute-ness though.

Ah, the curse of the writer: Twisting words until any listeners listening groan. Last night in Bible Study, our pastor made reference to Daniel in the lion’s den, and that after surviving the night, the king was so relieved that he had the guys who made the law that got Daniel tossed in get thrown in instead. I couldn’t resist. I said, “I guess as far as that law was concerned, the king used his ‘lion item veto.'”
Three minutes later, we continued the Bible Study.
Good comic, Brig! Shows that even “free” stuff isn’t free. But some “free” stuff is definitely worth the price!
Thank you, Pete… Lion item veto… hahahaha…. but yes, you are right… Often times, the best stuff in life is free.
I own my home. I married a Veterinarian. I have disabled foxes living in my house. You can probably see where this is leading…
You have a lot of adoptees then… softies… good hearted softies.
My family has invested more into their old dog than their truck. I consider it a good trade, the dog’s been much more loyal!
Ha! Dogs are superbly loyal… good pals. I met a few pooches over the weekend that were just so sweet. What is it about those furry little things that just makes our heart melt?!
I do hope this means that he intends to keep Ella…
She’s a cutie… and good for the soul.
Great writing and pacing on this page; Maximally awesome perspective on the third pic, and the backgrounds are lovely as usual. Really nice work, Brig!
Thank you. Those backgrounds I did quite some time ago… for Squid Row! I like recycling!
It’s a furry situation.
Indeed… and money will come and it will go… kitties stay around for a lot longer.
