Randie points out that had it not been for Ryan’s bug breaking down… It would have been exactly in the wrong place at the wrong time. So the next time you are mad because of a perceived setback, just think of Ryan’s Bug.

Well, I guess maybe next time he or she will think twice about it…
I’m reminded of the guardian angel from ‘Rose is Rose’, who will sometimes let something bad happen to Pascalle to prevent something *worse* from happening: like the time he had Pascalle come down with a summer cold to keep him in the house and away from an old tree the day lightning hit it to remove a dangerous dead branch.
Is that right? I don’t read “Rose is Rose”… I did just finish Richard Thompson’s “Richard’s Poor Almanac”… a very good read… not a daily comic, but I am about to start “Cul-de-sac.”
