Artist Jay

You might be wondering and/or possibly saying to yourself… Just who is this Jay? Is he a real person? I must know more!
Things like this and other insider tidbits and deeliebobs can be found on my Patreon blog feed. If you’d like to give just $2 a month, you can see behind-the -scenes stuff. Forgive my plug, but this cartoonist enjoys coffee, and once a month, if you could buy me a cup o’ joe for this here comic (and Squid Row, too)… I’d really love it! Visit Patreon.com/bridgettspicer for details (it’s super easy!)
“All we are say-ing…is give Portland a chance…”
That, Mr. RN, would make a nice parody song ala Weird Al… or Weird Brig.
It is well worth the price of admission.
Buy the artist a cup of coffee. Keep the creative juices flowing.
🙂
I tip my artist cap, Sir… having a full cup of joe is a really nice thing. And Harold sends along his best!
The ‘things’ that passed in the night.
Indeed… the “things” that coulda, woulda, shoulda, almost but never did.
I just get nostalgic seeing dirty brushes in make-shift wash cups; I’m grateful that I don’t have to clean and replace my Cintiq pen as often as those old brushes, but it still isn’t the same (mebbe I miss the paint fumes).
Dada… I have difficulty throwing yogurt containers away because they are so useful… when we moved, I recycled a ton of them as it seemed silly to pack them. I did, however, keep the honey-bear containers… they’re just too cute!
Moo-Cow Farms… LOVE IT!
Yeah, life throws you curve balls when you’re expecting fastballs. Still… every now and then it’s a hanging curveball and you get to crush that thing out of the ballpark!
Well-Said, Pete. I’m still looking for anything I can hit that isn’t in the dirt or five feet off the plate.
The Moo-Cow Farms is based on a plastic container I have floating around the studio (See Dada’s comment above and my response)… it’s based on “Bellwether Farms, Creme Fraiche French Cultured Cream” … AND MAN! Is that stuff good!
The thing about things is they rarely end up being the things you thingk they are in the end.
That’s the thing.
