When unpleasant now moments hijack happy then moments… They become examples of whatever you are feeling or an attitude you’ve developed. You’ve reclassified those memories. Now they make you feel bad. I hate that.

Just having someone to talk to about relationships is helpful… but having a therapist who’s a friend to talk to is more than helpful!
